Yesterday's EmergencyThere was a small electrical fire at Carpinteria Middle School today around 2:50 pm in the girls’ locker room. No one was hurt or injured. All students did an excellent job evacuating the buildings and waiting outside for us to check that everyone was safe. Thank you to all of you for keeping calm and following the rules during this incident. It was reassuring to know that we have our procedures down well for emergencies.
Garden Club
Garden Club today from 2pm-3pm after school. Please be on time, and be ready to work!!!! Let's hope for wonderful weather.

Attention all girls interested in Science
MASC will be making a field trip to UCSB to play with electricity, sound waves, optical illusions, and all sorts of crazy physics machines on Wednesday, April 30th, 3:30-6:00pm. See Ms. West for a permission slip. I only have 9 spots, so get to room 10 soon to reserve your seat in the van!
Pancake Friday is Back
Hot off the grill pancakes will be on sale Friday morning before school from 7:45 to 8:20 in the lunch quad. Come support students trying to raise money for their DC trip and get a good hot breakfast before testing.
ASB Meeting
There will be an ASB Meeting today, in the Art Room, during SSR. Please bring pencil, recycle box and Staff Appreciation Card.
