Lock your bikes up! On Monday, after school, a bike was stolen. If you know anything about it please let a teacher know. We do not want to live in a world where thieves rip off your property, so let's catch them.

 Attention all CADE members ~ There will be a meeting TODAY during lunch in room 2 beginning promptly at 12:30. We will be discussing participation points and planning our trip to Berkeley and
Stanford. Remember, your attendance/participation determines your eligibility for the trip this May.

Christian  Club ~ now moved to Tuesday's during lunch at 1230.

Football Sign-ups ~ Please sign up for football, we need sixth, seventh and eighth grade teams! Sign-ups will be at lunch in front of the MPR. It will be a lot of fun, sign up!

Free 4 the Weekend writing contest: If you would like the chance to be among the student representatives for the county-wide Free 4 the Weekend campaign (and be famous on a postcard, in some
local newspapers, etc), please come by Ms. Llamas's room, room 5, for an entry form. All you need to do is write a short paragraph, or a poem, or a song/rap on why you are drug and alcohol free. There will
be one winner chosen from Carpinteria Middle School to stand with the winners from all of the other middle and high schools from Goleta, Santa Barbara, and CHS!!! Come by room 5 for more details.

Talent Show ~ There are some talent show information sheets that still need to be turned in.  Please see Mrs. Tito to set up a time to see your act.  I am available for practice after school, and sometime during lunch, by appointment.  Please let me know if you would like to to this.  If, you are interested in participating but still a little shy, please come by and talk to me and we can arrange something for you to do.  It is a lot of fun.
The talent show will be Wed., March 7th. at 6:00 p.m.
