Free 4 the Weekend writing contest: If you would like the chance to be among the student representatives for the county-wide Free 4 the Weekend campaign (and be famous on a postcard, in some
local newspapers, etc), please come by Ms. Llamas's room, room 5, for an entry form. All you need to do is write a short paragraph, or a poem, or a song/rap on why you are drug and alcohol free. There will
be one winner chosen from Carpinteria Middle School to stand with the winners from all of the other middle and high schools from Goleta, Santa Barbara, and CHS!!! Come by room 5 for more details.

Talent Show ~ See Mrs. Tito to arrange a time for a try out.  Also, please remember that no one is allowed in the MPR at any time without permission. Mrs. Tito will be available if you would like to practice after school but you must make an appointment.
The talent show will be Wed., March 7th. at 6:00 p.m.
