Teacher Appreciation Scavenger Hunt
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Everyday there will be clues given in the bulletin about a "mystery" teacher. The first student to approach the teacher who is being described will receive a treat from that teacher! Good Luck on your search! No one guessed the teacher for Tuesday! Here's the clues again!!
1. In Middle School, this teacher was very small & skinny!
2. This teacher wanted to be a Welder after watching a James Bond Movie
3. This teacher's scariest moment was when a bear was trying to get in his/her tent in the middle of the night!
4. One thing this teacher is most proud of is his/her opportunity to move to California!

2. This teacher wanted to be a Veterinarian
3. This teacher's scariest moment was when his/her mom put a nylon over her head & acted like a burglar!
4. One of the most annoying habits is biting his/her nails!

2. This teacher wanted to be a Veterinarian too!
3. This teacher's scariest moment was when he/she almost drowned scuba diving
4. One of the most annoying habits is cracking his/her toes!
ASB Meeting Today in the Art room. Please bring Teacher Card and lunch. Meeting begins at 12:30!
Kayaking
Depending on the weather and the waves, Ms. West will be taking a group kayaking this Friday, May 8th. If you want to be a part of this totally awesome experience, get a permission slip from room 10.
Dress code: just because it is warmer does not mean the dress code is changing...You will be putting on a PE uniform if you are out of dress code. Third issue with dress code will equal a detention. Please do not waste your time, nor ours by dressing in clothes you think might not be okay.

Santa Cruz Island Trip --- Reminder!
Projects and permission slips are due next Monday, May 11th. You can turn them in to Mrs. Swarm or Ms. West. We will have a short informational meeting next week, so be sure to check the bulletin for the day and location. If you have questions, or need help, be sure to see one of us soon!!!
Attention 7th and 8th graders-There are many of you who were given a replacement Emergency Card this past week or so by the office. These are very important documents, especially for field trips and safety reasons. Please have a parent or guardian fill it out quickly, bring it to school, return it to the office. Those students who do not return these emergency cards will not be allowed to go on our LA Zoo Field trip. It is school policy. Thank you! Ms. Leiter, Mrs. Camardella, and Miss West
No PDA at CMS: that means no public display of affection at CMS: basically, you may hug briefly and then let go, but you may not hold hands for several minutes or more on campus, you may not kiss on campus, you may not do anything more than that on campus. We are happy for you to have found someone you like who likes you back, but you need to keep that private from the rest of us at school. If you are noticed doing these things, your parents will be contacted so that they know what you are up to here at school.
