Garden Club TODAY: In the Garden. Lots of great things to do. See you there.

Students: Carp Cares would like your ideas about what could make a great recreational center for teens in Carpinteria. They will be having a pizza dinner for you to talk to you about your ideas. If you would like to give your ideas and go to that meeting, please give your name to the office so we can get you an official invitation. This is a great chance to make Carpinteria a better place for teens.

Fire drill yesterday: The great news is that no student pulled it, and you all did a good job of leaving the building in an orderly and helpful fashion. The bad news is that it was a technical malfunction that could happen again some day. Remember, we treat all drills seriously as we don't want anyone hurt ever.

CADE Recycling: Members will be recycling plastic bottles at lunch. Please throw only plastic bottles such as water and Gatorade bottles in the recycle bin. Thank you.

LUNCH REMINDERS: There are two reminders for students about behavior at lunch:

1. Students, do not run to lunch. Please walk or you may be asked to go back and start again.

2. Please make sure that your trash and all left overs get deposited into the trash cans at lunch and nutrition. Help discourage the seagulls.

REMINDER-BUS PARKING LOT:
You may NOT cut through the CUSD bus parking lot to come to school through the back gates. You must come all the way around.
