Students: Carp Cares would like your ideas about what could make a great recreational center for teens in Carpinteria. They will be having a pizza dinner for you to talk to you about your ideas. If you would like to give your ideas and go to that meeting, please give your name to the office so we can get you an official invitation. This is a great chance to make Carpinteria a better place for teens.
SMENCILS ARE BACK! (Smelly pencils) See your science teacher to purchase your favorite flavors. There are even 2 new, wonderful flavors. Collect all 10 flavors. Cost is still $1 for 1. Collect 5 for five dollars. Get all 10 for ten dollars.

My pencil is a Smencil,
I love it very much,
It helps me with my math and art,
And keeps my nose in touch.
If you are itching for a fancy smell
Or just wanting something rare,
A Smencil could be just the thing
To clear the surrounding air.
They only cost a dollar,
It really isn't much,
I think it's better spending money here
Than over at pizza hutch.
So, save your money, girls and boys
And put it where you will not peak,
Before you know it you can have,
A Smencil for each day of the week.
