Word of the Day
We know you are above AVERAGE intelligence and want some RELATION Between Math and the rest of your life, so our PRODUCT this week is ACUTE and VARIABLE lesson on how math terms also have other meanings... two for the price of one!

ACUTE: An angle les than 90 degrees. 30 degrees is an ACUTE angle. Other meanings: (ADJ) Sharp and severe. EX: I had an ACUTE pain in my side after running the mile.


Smencils
Students, are you running low on pencils? The science department has a solution for you! Your science teachers have Smencils to sell again. For $1 you can get a brand new, sharpened lovely smelling pencil! Stock up on all your favorite flavors.

Garden Club
Garden Club is going on a fieldtrip! Remember that all permission slips must be turned in before Thursday in order to be eligible. It is extremely important to report to Miss C's room as quickly as possible after 6th period that day. IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT!

Talent Show
If you haven't checked in with Mrs. Tito about what you are doing in the talent show please do so. Practice will be after school today. Singers I would like to hear what you sound like with the microphone. It's just a month away now. Please don't forget to get you slips turned in.

MASC
Really cool experiments with lots of materials starting Tuesday at 4pm and Wednesday at 4pm. See you in Ms. West's room 10!

Lunch and Nutrition
Students you must walk to lunch or nutrition. Students are starting to run more frequently and I will have to delay lunch if you cannot walk yourselves there calmly.

Counseling
Remember if you are feeling sad or worried about anything in life, come talk to the counselors, Ms. Cervantes or Ms. Reece. They are here to listen. We all are. Don't bottle up your feelings; it doesn't help in the long run. Counselors will meet with anyone who wants to make an appointment. Just come up to the office and ask.
