Word of the Day
HYPOTHESIS (noun) an educated guess based on background information.
Our hypothesis that students would be hyper due to sugar intake on Halloween was proven correct.

6th grade homeroom winners
1st place with 62% Mr. O'Hara's class, 15 points
2nd place with 55% Mrs. McCulley's class, 10 points
3rd place with 48% Mrs. Castagna's class, 5 points

7th/8th grade homerooms
1st place with 61% Mr. Clinton's class
2nd place with 60% Mr. Fowler's class, 10 points
3rd place with 53% Mr. Hotchner's class, 5 points

Halloween Week
Thursday: Wear black for Day of the Dead (all day)
Friday: Day of the Dead present by Ms. Nunez

School Picture Re-Takes
School picture re-takes are this Friday. If you did not get your picture taken then please come to MPR at lunch or nutrition to have your picture taken. You can get a picture order form Mrs. Payne in the office.

Garden Club
Garden Club today after school in the garden. C U there!

CADE (Celebrating Adversity, Diversity, and Education)
CADE will meet during lunch and after school today to prepare for our Day of the Dead fund raiser Friday, November 2nd. Thank you to all students who have been coming after school this week to help setup!

ALL CMS students and staff
Come and support our club as we try to raise money for a trip to Berkeley next semester. We will be selling tamales, rice, horchata, bunuelos, and posole during lunch Friday, Nov. 2nd.

Independent PE
IPE students please bring your signed IPE requirement forms back to the office Friday, 11/2 (tomorrow). Also you need to turn in your IPE time sheets for the weeks of 10/21, 10/28, and 11/2 by Friday.
