Halloween Week
Monday: Mummy Wrap teachers vs. students
Teachers, here's your chance to redeem yourself. Monday at 12:30 in the Quad we will be having a mummy-wrapping contest. Teachers vs. Students. We need at least 4 teachers to participate. 6th grade teachers, we need your help too during your lunch. Students, the first 10 students who come to see Mrs. Taylor at nutrition today will be participating. 6th grade teachers, if you can choose 8 students to participate that would be wonderful.
Tuesday: Find the object in the pumpkin
Wednesday: Costume Contest
Thursday: Wear black for Day of the Dead (all day)
Friday: Day of the Dead present by Ms. Nunez
Media/Fashion Literacy
First meeting will be this Tuesday, October 30th at 4:00 in room 1. It is an exciting opportunity to explore the media's focus on appearance, fashion and beauty. Topics include marketing tools such as brand names and logos, careers in fashion and more!! Don't miss out on this one! Class will be held Tues./Thurs. from 4-5. If you are interested in signing up, see Terry Boardman from the after school program (office in the home ec room) or Mrs. Swarm.
