COMPILE (Verb): to gather together facts from different sources into a report or book. We were asked to COMPILE information about a famous author for our English class.
Diversity
Ms. Nunez's Club meeting will be postponed until Friday at lunch so that you all can participate or watch the student vs. teacher dodge ball game during lunch. Remember pizza will be provided during Friday's meeting while we discuss our plans for the Day of the Dead fundraiser Friday, November 2nd.
Garden Club
Garden club will meet in the home economics room for cooking today. Come join us as we make delicious Halloween treats for an afternoon of Ghostly fun!

Red Ribbon Week
Thursday: Dodge ball teachers vs. students in on the field. Students need to sign up with Mrs. Taylor by snack on Thursday morning.
Friday: Wear red.
Media/Fashion Literacy
First meeting will be NEXT Tuesday, October 30th at 4:00 in room 1. It is an exciting opportunity to explore the media's focus on appearance, fashion and beauty. Topics include marketing tools such as brand names and logos, careers in fashion and more!! Don't miss out on this one! Class will be held Tues./Thurs. from 4-5. If you are interested in signing up, see Terry Boardman from the after school program (office in the home ec room) or Mrs. Swarm.
