Noon Sports:  Flag football continues today.  See Mr. Sabraw, room 20, for schedule of today's game.  It is still possible to sign up if you would like to play.

Ocean Kayaking.  Tomorrow is our first trip.  Sign up and register w/Mr. O'Hara or Mr. Sabraw.  It is open to all students, and it is free!  The first 12 to sign up and register will go this week.

Battle of the Books Club: All 6th graders are invited to participate. Meetings will be on Wednesdays at lunch in the library. First meeting will be TODAY.

Chess Club: Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library at lunch. Everyone is invited to participate. There will be 8 chess boards set up which means there will be room for the first 16 students who show up to play.

CADE: Next club meeting will be tomorrow. at lunch in room 2. We will be voting for our officers and begin planning our first fundraiser of the year. Please grab your lunch and be prompt because we will begin at exactly 12:45.

Attention AVID students: Our first field trip of the year is Nov. 3rd! We will be going to Olvera Street and the UCLA Football game, but only students honoring the contract will be able to attend. Please remember to maintain at least a C average in ALL classes and you must be earning a satisfactory or better for citizenship! That means no Ns, nor Us will be allowed to attend. O means you are outstanding, S means satisfactory, N means you need improvement and U means unsatisfactory.
