Daily Patriotic Act
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Noon Sports: The next activity for Noon Sports will be flag football. There will be teams for all grade levels; 6th grade vs. 6th grade, and 7th-8th vs. 7th-8th, etc. Sign up w/Mr. Sabraw in rm 20. Last day for sign ups is today.

AAA club meets tomorrow after school! We will be enjoying some treats, cleaning up the garden, planning for our first fundraiser and trip to see Airforce 1 at the Ronald Regan Library in Simi Valley. Come by and check out what this cool club is all about! 3:15-4:15 Room 1 with Mrs. Swarm

Battle of the Books Club: All 6th graders are invited to participate. Meetings will be on Wednesdays at lunch in the library. First meeting will be this Wednesday, Sept. 26th.

Chess Club: Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library at lunch. Everyone is invited to participate. There will be 8 chess boards set up which means there will be room for the first 16 students who show up to play.

CADE: Next club meeting will be Thursday at lunch in room 2. We will be voting for our officers and begin planning our first fundraiser of the year. Please grab your lunch and be prompt because we will begin at exactly 12:45.

Attention AVID students: Our first field trip of the year is Nov. 3rd! We will be going to Olvera Street and the UCLA Football game, but only students honoring the contract will be able to attend. Please remember to maintain at least a C average in ALL classes and you must be earning a satisfactory or better for citizenship! That means no Ns, nor Us will be allowed to attend. O means you are outstanding, S means satisfactory, N means you need improvement and U means unsatisfactory.
