Washington DC meeting date change. The meeting for all 7th and 8th graders planning on going to Washington DC next year has been changed to Fri. at Nutrition in Mr. J's room.

ASB meeting Thursday at 12:30. This is a very important ASB Meeting requiring all representatives to be present! Quickly get your lunch & meet in the Art Room.

TGIF tomorrow.
Please be sure to turn on television to hear the bulletin and other important issues at CMS.
Teachers who have 6th and 7th grade students will be listening to speeches and voting tomorrow. At 8:31, please pass out the ballots to only 6th and 7th graders. If you don't have enough ballots, quickly call ext. #251 to request more. When speeches are finished and students have voted, please collect and send ballots to Mrs."K". Results will be announced before 3:00, Friday.

Candy Grams:
It's that time of year again, the time when we have say goodbye to our 8th graders! And there's no better way than to send them a Candy Gram! They will be sold from tomorrow, May 27 to Friday June 7 for 25 cents!

End of the Year Carnival Dance
Tickets are on sale Tuesday in the Lunch Quad. This should be a dance you don't want to miss! Tickets are $5.00. Buy your ticket early, no long lines.

2011-2012 ASB Campaign
Students who are running for next year's ASB officers will be campaigning until May 27. The election will be Friday, May 27, during Redhawks Morning Announcements. Only 6th & 7th graders are eligible to vote. Please be 'respectful" to all candidates and the campaign posters

Registration for USYVL's Fall 2011 Season is currently open! The 8 week league in Ventura located at Arroyo Grande Park starts on September 14, 2011. For more information please visit http://usyvl.org/programs/find-a-program?Ventura

For 8th Graders ONLY ~ Looking to have some FUN this summer and earn 5 units of high school credit? June 27th to July 15th there will be a College Career Camp. But hurry, sign-up is on a first come, first served basis and the spots will fill up quickly!!! There's even 3 field trips planned. It's a GREAT opportunity to explore and participate in college/career activities and earn 5 credits!!! Sign up sheet is in the office.

Cheerleading tryouts for CHS will be tomorrow at 4 pm in the high school gym. Last night for workshops from 5:30 to 7 pm in the CHS gym. Pick up cheer packets in the office and turn in completed forms to Helen in the CHS office.

Library notes~ All library books are due TOMORROW. Textbook collection is next week. Tuesday is 6th grade, Wednesday is 7th, and Thursday is 8th grade.

Come down and guess how many pages we've read this month. It's the last time...for this year.
