Look for Ocean Guards tables at nutrition and lunch on Wednesday of this week. Bring us your paper lunch tray to recycle and earn a sweet treat! Make your guess for how many of these paper lunch trays we use in an average month -- guesses go to Miss West. Closest to our number wins a prize! Winner announced on Friday :)
"The Free 4 The Weekend writing contest is here! Have you seen the "My anti-drug is..." posters around CMS? Do YOU want to be next star on the wall? Come by room 5 if you'd like to participate in this year's contest. All you need to do is write a paragraph on what you do INSTEAD of drugs and alcohol to get high on life! Go see Ms. Llamas for more information. Some students will have their anti-drug messages in the CMS bulletin during the Free 4 the Weekend celebration in April!"
Talent show: Mrs. Tito says it's not too late to try out for the talent show but she would like to see what you have so far. There are about 4 or 5 groups that have said they want to be in it but haven't returned the form saying what you are doing and who is in your group. The parent signature form also will need to be returned. See Mrs. Tito to set up a time to perform.
