Attention All 7th Graders
ASB 2009-2010 Candidate meeting is Tuesday, May 5. If you are a leader, have a red or gold card, good citizenship and are interested in running for an ASB officer next year. Please come to a short meeting in the Art room during lunch. Meeting begins at 12:30 sharp! Thank you, Leadership Class

Teacher Appreciation Scavenger Hunt

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Everyday there will be clues given in the bulletin about a "mystery" teacher. The first student to approach the teacher who is being described will receive a treat from that teacher! Good Luck on your search!
1. In Middle School, this teacher was very rebellious, but made good grades!
2. This teacher wanted to be a Forest Ranger
3. This teacher's scariest moment was when the Superman ride at Magic Mountain malfunctioned & went flying past the stop zone!
4. One thing this teacher is most proud of is his/her two beautiful children!

Cheerleader Tryouts:
Any 8th grade students interested in cheerleading at the high school next year, pick up an information packet in the office on the turn-around. Practice will take place at the high school gym, Tuesday, May 19th - Thursday, May 21. Try-outs will be Friday, May 22. This is a great opportunity so don't miss out. Thank you.

Students, please help yourselves stay healthy by washing your hands frequently with soap and water and do not share drinks or food that you have already started eating. There are some serious illnesses going around and we want you to help keep yourselves healthy.

Don't forget to buy your yearbook. You can purchase them in the office from Mrs. Payne for only $30.00.

Interested in Social Justice or the story of Cesar Chavez? On Friday at lunch "Viva La Causa" will be playing in room 5.

Teachers: If you would like to show "Viva La Causa" at lunch on Friday, it will be playing on your TV.
