Lost and Found in the Art Room -
Parents will love you if you come claim your items. We have a Carpinteria Warrior all star sweat shirt 2007-2008 with several names on the back, a Carpinteria AYSO All-Star black and red jacket, and a cute small camouflage jacket.

Garden Club:

This Thursday from 3:15pm-4:15pm, Garden Club needs your help. We are getting ready for Open House this Thursday (April 30th) and need to get the Garden looking sharp for all our guests/parents. Please bring a friend, be ready to work, those who come to help in our Spring Cleaning/Open House day will have a pleasant surprise for Garden Club the following week.

For 8th graders, state testing in social studies and science starts next week. Please focus and do your best on these tests. These scores are part of what places you in extra classes next school year. These tests show us what you have learned so far in your classes. Good Luck

A behavior few reminders:
Students you may not carry balloons around with you on campus. If the balloons are full, you need to leave them in the office for safe keeping, if they are empty, you may not have them. Water balloons are not permitted on campus and making loud popping noises with them is not permitted either.
If you are caught popping your milk or juice containers or making any other loud popping sound (with balloons) you will be given consequences for disrupting peaceful school activities.

Play fighting is not permitted at school.

6th graders:
it is not a game to take someone's back pack and hide it. Please join a basketball or soccer game, or another good activity at lunch if you are bored.

Gentlemen
: not only is punching or hitting each other in the private parts extremely mean and painful, it can also potentially be long term damaging. If you are caught doing this, there are serious consequences.

Finally, some of you have started to help cleanup for others when they leave their trash behind and we really appreciate it. Unfortunately, some of you have gotten really disrespectful with throwing fruit cups and other food and smashing apples on the ground or simply leaving your trash behind. This is disrespectful to Eddie and Bruce and the rest of us who end up cleaning up your mess, and it is not okay. You are lucky to go to a beautiful school; it is your job to keep it that way. Our custodians and staff are not here to pick up after your mess.
