7th Grade AWARDS ASSEMBLY TODAY! - You will have an awards assembly today after lunch. We will honor those students who have been caring and give prizes to those who have earned excellence points. At the end of lunch, go to the MPR and take a seat. You will be allowed to sit with your friends so please be on your best behavior. After the assembly you will go to your 5th period class. 6th and 8th graders will have their assembly tomorrow.

ASB Meeting TODAY in the Art Room during lunch. Use your "front of the line" pass to quickly get your lunch. Meeting begins promptly at 12:30.

Free and Reduced Lunch Information: Students the time is up for last year's Free and Reduced lunch forms to still work. If you have not renewed your application properly you will either have to pay or eat a plain meal (not the regular one). If you have a question please come to the office. You may no longer get free regular lunch if you don't qualify. We are in October.

Sixth Grade Reminder: Keeping Down the Noise: 6th graders when you return to class after lunch, you need to be quiet as you return to LA classes as the math quad has 7 & 8th grade classes in session and they can hear your loud voices and it is disruptive to their learning.

Anyone interested in learning about diversity and adversity?? If you're interested in joining CADE, Celebrating Adversity, Diversity, and Education, come to room 29, in Ms. Nunez's classroom this Thursday at 12:30. Grab your lunch and come to our first meeting of the school year. We will be nominating our officers and planning our first fundraiser for Day of the Dead/Dia de los muertos. We will also be sharing ideas to celebrate Latino Heritage month. ALL are welcome to just come and check it out. (Have you guessed the secret?)

School Picture Re-Takes
School Picture re-take day is Wednesday October 15, 2008. All picture re-takes will be during PE. Independent PE students can get their picture taken during 6th period. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Romais in the office.
