Notes from the Principal
Ladies and gentlemen there is absolutely no play fighting allowed at CMS. You may not kick, push, hit, or grab your friends. If you do this in a mean way you will be suspended. If you do this in a friendly way you will be assigned detention the first time and more severe consequences later. You are too old to play like that.Students due to the large amounts of trash being left everywhere on campus, you may no longer eat in non-eating areas. That means you may not eat on the fields or on the stage. You will have to earn that privilege back by throwing all trash away. No one is here to clean up after you.
Keep your head, remember the rules and be good for the last 5 weeks of school. This is a reminder that any suspensions from this point forward will mean you cannot attend the science field trip and end of the year dance and if you are in 8th grade you also will not be able to do any end of year activities.
Study hard! You have one more week of testing, finish up strong! Also, you only have five weeks of schoolwork left. 8th graders do not give up your chance to participate in end of the year activities including promotion. 6th and 7th graders based on this (and your other) report cards we will be assigning you extra help in the form of 0 and 7th period classes if you show us you cannot get good grades on your own. Summer school will also be assigned for anyone with a D or F. Just like your parents go to work everyday, school is your work. Please put forth your best effort.
