Art Contest
The Carpinteria Woman’s Club is holding its annual Student Art Contest. See Mrs. Kakalamanos if you are interested in entering contest. Entries are due Friday, May 9

Yearbook
The yearbook is now on sale for only $27.00. You can get an order from in the office from Mrs. Payne. Hurry it will only be on sale until May 30th.

Garden Club
Garden club this Thursday at 2pm. We will be making quesadillas and Cinco de Mayo yummies, as well as finishing up our Mother's Day gifts and cards. The following week Garden will be at 2pm. We will be going to the CHS garden and Farm for a student led tour. Permission slips are due to Miss C before the trip. Space is limited so turn yours in early to reserve your spot.

Science Field Trip
If you have not turned your permission slip into your science teacher by Friday you will not be allowed to go on the field Trip. Behavior plays a HUGE FACTOR in your ability to attend this trip, be respectful and make good decisions in and out of the classroom. This will be a fantastic day off campus filled with amazing opportunities for all.

CHS Cheer Tryouts
Cheerleading tryouts are coming up at CHS stop by the office to pick up a packet with all the cheer information!

Periods 0, 2, 4, 6, 7 (7th & 8th Grade)
Periods 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 (6th Grade)
Modified Dismissal 2:00pm
7th period Dismissal 3:00pm
Independent PE Dismissal 11:45am
Fighting
Ladies and gentlemen there is absolutely no play fighting allowed at CMS. You may not kick, push, hit, or grab your friends. If you do this in a mean way you will be suspended. If you do this in a friendly way you will be assigned detention the first time and more severe consequences later. You are too old to play like that.
