Daily Bulletin for Thursday, June 9th

Textbooks~ Still waiting on a few of you. Remember outstanding textbooks or fees carry over next year. Bills will be mailed tomorrow.

Summer reading ~ It's very important that you keep reading this summer. Studies have shown that readers who don't continue to read over the summer are likely to lose some of gains made through the school year. Use the public library, join their summer reading program, go to the local book store, read to a brother or sister or mom, dad, grandparents. Just take 30 minutes every day and read and you'll start the new school year ahead of your peers who don't read. Read some place fun, have a picture taken and bring it in for the beginning of the year bulletin board ~ at the beach, in the pool, Paris, Galapagos Islands, Miami, in your backyard, any where! HAVE FUN AND READ!!!!!

For 8th Graders ONLY ~ Looking to have some FUN this summer and earn 5 units of high school credit? June 27th to July 15th there will be a College Career Camp. But hurry, sign-up is on a first come, first served basis and the spots will fill up quickly!!! There's even 3 field trips planned. It's a GREAT opportunity to explore and participate in college/career activities and earn 5 credits!!! Sign up sheet is in the office.
