Daily Bulletin for Monday, March 14th

"The Bully No More Club meets today at lunch in Ms. Llamas's room. If you'd like to come by and show support for the growing movement that CMS students will not be pushed around anymore, we have a banner you can sign your name on. We're standing up for ourselves, and telling bullies 'we see you!' Join the movement today at lunch in room 5!!!"

Lunchtime Football Tomorrow~Teachers vs. Hazelton. If you signed up to play you need to be on the field at 12:25.

Geeks abound! Are you noticing people with their glasses taped together? Or their pants hiked up or wearing a pocket protector... if you are they might just be a geek who is cool. Why? Because they are celebrating Pi day...3.14. What is pi you say?
Pi is an irrational number, and so it cannot be completely represented. Computers have calculated pi to over 1 trillion digits past the decimal. Pi represents the relationship between a circle’s diameter and its circumference.

Speaking of numbers, here's one for you...500,749. That's how many pages we all have read up to this point which is more than halfway to our goal. Mrs. McCulley's period 5 class has read the most. They've read 10% of our total pages... In fact, sixth grade has read almost HALF of our total pages. C'mon 7th & 8th graders are you really going to let the 6th graders beat you. Report your pages NOW!! Crystal Landeros is the "Caughtcha Reading" drawing winner and Jessica Lemus guessed closest to the amount we read in Feb. See Mrs. G.
