Daily Bulletin for Wednesday, December 8th

Club Live meets today in Ms. Llamas's room, room 5. We are signing up for who's bringing what to our Club Live Holiday Lunch Party next week! What will you bring to Club Live? Room 5, be there!

7th & 8th graders: Independent PE is closed and will not reopen second semester (its only offered first semesters). May is when requests will be taken for this class for the 2011/2012 school year so watch for it then.

The Carpinteria 14 & under Girls Soccer Team will be playing in the Camarillo Semi-Finals this weekend. If you see Daisy, Megan, Marissa, Alexa, Sophie, Aylin, Chloe, Megan G, and Kellie wish them luck!

Mrs. Guarnero asks all students to please, please, please do not jump at our reading chains in the hallway and try to hit them with your hands. They are only hung up with a staple so they come down very easily. It takes a long time to get them hung so please be respectful! Thanks!

Ocean Guards, Fri 3-5, Be in a movie!
This Friday we are traveling to the Carpinteria State Beach tidepools again, but this time we are being filmed for an educational video that will be on the internet. Even if you haven't been to Ocean Guards before, you can still join us for this event. Get a permission slip from Ms. West in room 10.

Winter Dance Tickets Are on sale. Ticket price is $5.00. Please don't wait till the last minute to buy your tickets. Sales will be on the outside stage.

CMS Holiday Talent show is this Thursday 12/9 at 3:30 pm after school.

Attention all 8th Grade students: There will be an advanced Exploring Music class next semester. If you are interested please see Ms. Cervantes!

The Boy's & Girl's Club will be having basketball sign-ups for co-ed teams from now until Dec. 10th. Do you like to shoot, dribble, pass? Sounds like just the thing for you. Good fun, good friends, and the exercise is a bonus!

Unity Shoppe canned food drive continues and ends Friday, December 10, 2010!!!!!! Please donate cans or non-perishable foods. Bring to your 5th period SSR teacher we will be having a contest against grade levels.
