All School Information

Lunch
Memorize the # on your ID. The food lines are slow because people did not know their numbers. Take off the zeros in the front of your number and then you have the number you must memorize and punch in each day. It is the same as last year. You will be sent to the back of the line if you cannot say it. (You may use your ID to remember.) If you were Free and Reduced lunch last year, this will carry over for two weeks. You must fill out a green form and reapply each year. Make sure that you do this. If you are not sure you can check in the office with Alfonso. If you do not have an ID, find Mr. Merritt at nutrition and he will give you a temporary ID. Finally, if you qualify for Free or Reduced lunch, you get breakfast for free EITHER before school from 7:15-8:20am or at nutrition. Please eat, a car can't drive without gas, a brain cannot work without food.

Zero & 7th period Students
If you have a 0 or 7th period on your schedule it is mandatory attendance. You must go until your schedule is officially changed or you will have consequences for cutting class. Until we see that you no longer need the assistance, you must attend. Your teachers and counselors will work with you to decide when you are ready to "graduate" out of the support class.

After School Program
The After School Program has begun, register and join them: sports, arts, homework help and much more.

Lunchtime Activities
7th/8th grade students: during lunch, at 12:30, you may use the MPR, New Gym, Library or eating area to spend your time.

Independent PE
7/8th grade: We are reopening Independent PE for this week only. If you would like to be in Independent PE please get a form from the office at nutrition or lunch today or tomorrow. Forms are due back this FRIDAY afternoon, August 29th.

School Pictures
School picture day is Thursday September 11, 2008. You will be receiving your picture order forms in your PE class. Independent PE students will be can come to the office next week to pick up their order form.

Back to School Night
Back 2 School Night is Wednesday September 10, 2008 at 5:30pm.

Garden Club
Do you enjoy being outside? Hanging with friends? And Eating delicious garden grown treats? If you answered yes to any of these please think about joining the Garden Club. It begins on September 4th. Bring a friend, a positive attitude, and meet us in the Garden after school from 3:15pm-4: 15pm every Thursday. THINGS BEGIN SEPTEMBER 4th Questions, see Miss Camardella Room 11

School Bus Pick-Up
The only place to catch the bus and vans is in the pool parking lot for all students. There is no longer pick-up on 8th Street due to the field construction. The gate that leads to 8th Street is locked and can not be used. All students must exit the school from the pool parking lot.

7 & 8th grade:

Independent PE Students

At the end of 5th period you must leave campus unless you sign up to be a teacher's aide during 6th period. You may not hang out in the library. You may return at 3:05 if you need to use the library, but you cannot be in the library during 6th period.

Please let your parents know. We will remind them as well.
